India, a culturally-diverse country with several different ethnicities, has an enormous population base that consists of different people with innovative thinking and wide intellectual skills.

Entrepreneurs are the need of the hour as they can bring along widespread changes in the industry and create job opportunities for the masses.

In the present world, India definitely needs more entrepreneurs to capture the rising possibilities of business development in India. Promoting Entrepreneurship means encouraging people to be self-reliant in taking economic decisions and creating wealth and employment.

All said and done, the idea of starting a business, becoming an entrepreneur is scary thought for most of the people. Still, almost everyone thinks about self-employment at some point in their lives before they retire, there is nothing wrong about it! Unfortunately for most of them it’s just a Trivial Pursuit.

Entrepreneurship is about - when you act upon opportunities and ideas and transform them into value for others. The value thus created can be financial, cultural, or social. Definition proposed by the Danish Foundation for Entrepreneurship & Young Enterprise.

In a nutshell - It is the process of identifying a need or a gap in the market, and coming up with a product or service to fill that need. However, not all entrepreneurship is the same.

There are different types of entrepreneurship, each with its own unique characteristics and goals. By the way do you know about political entrepreneur? Surprised!
